Renewal code field not showing

Hi,

I bought a renewal code for my PT Studio from a reseller.
Expiring on Sep 2.
But the field for the code in my account is not showing.
Auto-renewal is OFF.
Turned it on-off a few times, nothing.
Anyone got a clue?

(Edit: sorry, I thought you meant 'reinstatement' code, but you meant renewal. My support plan is expired so I can't see 'renewal' anyway.)

Same problem here! I need to renew but I can't.
Tried different browsers but field for renewal code isn't showing up anywhere

Pro Tools Upgrade Plan Renewal (Reseller)

1. Log in to my.avid.com and click "View My Products"
2. Click the name of the product to display the product details.
3. Enter the renewal code into the code field in the lower right and click the blue triangle to the right of the field to submit it. This will apply the renewal to the product and extend the expiration date. (Products with Auto Renewal enabled will not show the code field, so disable Auto Renewal to then enter or paste in a code.)

After you login to your Avid Master Account
you can enter your Code and Register your Product and get your Download here:
https://my.avid.com/products/redemption



(It’s the 2nd purple button in My Account>My Products>”Register Software with Code” - Redeem code from Avid Reseller or Avid to download software)
Your product will be added to your Avid Account. After registration is complete, you can access download files on your Avid Products page to install and activate your product.

thank you for the replies.
It is still not working.
Got an answer from support to use Avid Link, but I allways get the message to go to product page in my account.
But there is no field!
When I try renewal through the Avid Store, I have the same license in my basket as the one from Thomann, so this can not be the problem.
Meanwhile my license expired, but I have a project to finnish to next week, so any input welcome.

I have the exact same problem!
I contacted support and they will try manually apply the code with my system ID.
Will let you know if they solved it for me.

I just checked my work's avid account and there is a field for renewal code, only difference is that we have a perpetual license.
So there must be some kind of bug for subscription licenses.

Anyone at Avid care to check this out?

Looks like Support sorted it out for me and now my subscription's been renewed and I can see the field again!
Check out your account if you can now see the field too. If not, contact the support again.

Hi all,

thanks for your help so far.

I got the problem solved somehow
It took a few atempts with the support, but now it is clear:
Subs originally contracted via the Avid webshop con ONLY be renewd through Avid, NOT a reseller license!
This is ok, but if not stated in any public document it is more than odd.
Thomann is nice enough, to now change my Renewal to a new Sub.
