CoreAudio manager plays back fast
Hi Guys -
Did a search and haven't seen this problem, so I'm looking for some tips . When running Mac audio out through Digi CoreAudio driver, everything is playing back fast. I have a 192, clocked via an Aardsync. I have Digi HW (HD) selected in AudioMidi Setup, clock source to digital, and 44.1 under Audio Output - Format. Digi CAM reads connected at 44.1 When I launch and play from iTunes, playback is too fast by about 9%. I have tried trashing Digi CAM and AudioMidiprefs. One weirdness is that every time I go back to AudioMidi setup, clock reads "internal" Any thoughts? Thanks.

Re: CoreAudio manager plays back fast
whats your Aardsync sample rate set at? I'm going to guess 48.0k.

Re: CoreAudio manager plays back fast
I'm with Jeffrey on that guess. Unfortunately, the only way around this that I'm aware of is to change the sync source to 44.1 and then make sure you remember to change it back when you open a 48k Pro Tools session.

Re: CoreAudio manager plays back fast
NO, Ard is at 44.1 and ProTools playback is fine, it's only out when playing through CAM
