MBox Mini-Problems writing to external FW Drive
I am having problems assigning tracks to my 7200 RPM external Firewire Drive.
When I go into disk allocation, I get a message "Drive" is not an audio playback volume." When I click ok-Pro Tools quits. Same thing happens on my Intel Macbook. MBox Mini Powermac G5 OSX.4.11 Pro Tools 7.1

Thanks for the reply. I have other data on this drive-it is a 250 gig My Book. I do not remember formatting it-as with MAC's I have always been able to plug in and go. I had a previous drive that worked fine with my 002. For some reason this drive gives me this message-I am trying to avoid buying another drive, but I may have to. Thanks again, Vince
