Default Good studio furniture at a good price?

hey, i need a new desk/workstation for recording because i'm upgrading to pro-tools and i need enough room for 2 (video) monitors and of course 2 (audio) monitors. when i look for actual studio furniture, it's always way out of my price range. i'm looking at spending around $200 for it. i know thats not much, but i've found one or two things at office depot that i like. would it be easier to build one?

i have the creation station that i bought from guitar center. its pretty good. was 200$ has 2 shelves, and 8 rack spaces. i put my monitors (2 video & 2 audio) on the top shelf and my keyboards (1 midi & 1 computer) on the bottom shelf. it works out well. check it out...

I also have RTA's Creation Station and completely agree. At $199, It was well worth it's cost. Plus, assembling is much easier than constructing. Definitely check it out

When You first get it, examine all of the piece's and make sure everything looks nice, because if it doesnt you can call them or go on there website and they will send you new piece's free of charge and you don't have to send back the crappy pieces

Man, you guys are spoilt for choice in th US.

Nothing here like those in the UK for under £400. Well, none that I have seen!

I have an home office desk that I am going to chop up to make it function like one of those creation station desks.

SPOILED? lol... not all of us, my island-dwelling brother! I built my own for about $10 usd.
behold (if the link holds):

Desk Construction

Finished result

As you can see, I still need to make some speaker stands...phone books are just so lame.

Now,... if anyone wants me to build you a desk, it will cost you substantially more
But, honestly, I figure if I am creative enough to build a song from scratch, then I can build a desk too. Its not too hard, and you will be quite proud of it when you are done.
I know not everyone has the tools etc.. but if you have the time, diy will save you $$.
