Default BFD Lite Drum Module

Hi,
I have just installed BFD Lite expansion on my Mac Book, I am running Protools 7.3 on an Intel Based Mac, 2.16 Ghz Processor and 2Gs of Ram.

I thought I would see the program on an Instrument track as a plugin, I doesn't seem to be showing up, Am I doing something wrong?? Any Idea's.

Look forward to Hearing from You!

Affreds.

Thanks Rail,
That Seemed to do the Trick! Excuse My ignorance, but now I cannot load up the samples that came with the original DVD, I can see them, But I cannot select them, it also won't load a default Kit! Tried to drag a kit from the Dvd into the HD on the Mac, that doesn't work either, Do all the samples have to be updated aswell??

I don't know how BFD Lite works.. but you should check the path to where you installed the sample data is correct in the Options.

Use Spotlight to see where the installation has placed the kit samples. I ended up with multiple folders, some of which contained nothing. Once I'd moved the 'real' folder to applications (one appeared in Library) and relinked/edited the path (as Rail suggested), all systems wee go.

Hi Phil, just a little unclear as to what spotlight is? also When I installed the samples I just dragged them into the hard drive from the CD Folder! Don't know if this is the right thing to do, but I don't know of another way of installing them! maybe this is the reason for the program reading the wrong path?

Affreds!

click the 'magnifying glass' icon in a blue circle (top right of screen header) and type in 'BFD'. It should give you all the items with this name. It's the folders you're interested in. Holding the cursor over an item from the list should give you it's path. Once you've found the folder with the sample data, make sure the path on the BFD options page (the tick in a square symbol at the top of right column) corresponds.

Not sure about the drag and drop of the samples. Mine was installed automatically.

Hope that helps.
