Default Pro Tools LE 7.3 on a new macbook pro?

Sorry for the newbie question---

Looking to purchase a new MacBook Pro (haven't decided on Leopard or Snow Leopard though). I have an Mbox 2 Mini that came with Pro Tools LE 7.3.

What I'm trying to find out is, what kind of updates do I need to run for this to work? Would I have to update to 7.4, then to 8?

Had a buddy that had a bunch of problems when Leopard came out...just want to make sure that doesn't happen to me.
