DDP Creator for Pro Tools?

Hello folks,

I've recently been asked to create a DDP for a CD Mastering deliverable, yet I currently do not own/cannot afford any mastering software that would allow me to create a DDP.

I wanted to come on here and ask if any of you know of any PT plugins that would allow for such an export?

Sonoris DDP Creator (Standalone App)

Presonus Studio One Professional. Has CD mastering page, sign up for the monthly Sphere subscription, master your CD, cancel the subscription. No commitment on the subs. I also own the Hofa software but tbh the Studio One layout and implementation is easier on the eye, and very powerful. Exports to DDP and all other formats.

HOFA is hard to beat for price and facilities. I have made plenty of DDPs and never had a production problem.

Learning the software is easy compared to others I have used and you can very quickly convert a master for vinyl exports, which are popular now.

If we’re going to recommend standalone software, even though the OP specifically asked for a plugin for PT, then you might as well just grab Reaper and do it in there.

I had to create a DDP with Reaper once as the software I use for DDP authoring crapped itself so needed a fast and simple solution.

It works and you can’t argue with the price.

I use DDP Creator. It used to be free for a certain number of projects (not sure if that's still the case).

HOFA is very nice as well. I've read that we're on the cusp of a 'CD Revolution' so maybe this is something Avid would look into adding.
