Default video sync offset & scrubbing, spotting etc.

hello,

i just sync-checked my system: sound is 1,9 frames ahead of picture. (24 fps, dnxhd36 qt, bm mini monitor) beside that the sync its pretty stable with 0.1 ms span.

so if i now use “video sync offset” to compensate that offset, than spotting, scrubbing etc. is a pain, since you always have to think around the corner timing wise.

how you guys work with that?

simply offset the picture in the timeline and live with tc difference between burned-in-tc and pt-clock-tc?

thanks for your input,
ciao johannes
