Default On the Dec, 20th I\'d like to know...

I think he's curious to know on December 21, how many HD process cards were actually exchanged as a percentage of the total number of HD process cards out there...

In other words, how successful was the exchange program.

You'll never know, because some of us sold our cards on the open market for a value much greater than the digi factory trade-in.

How many of us have ever been suckered, er, I mean traded in a used car at a dealership?

Do you think for a second that the dealer is not making a profit on the transaction?

Digi's trade-in offer is mediocre at best... anyone with a few spare minutes will do the private party route, and you will be way ahead...

kcurry you got it. jeremyroberts the current value of an HD Process card is around 1,000 usd. With a list price of 4,995 do you think it's still possible to have a better deal than Digi's trade in ?

It is terrible that HD owners are not even listed in the upgrade path. It is bad business.

Don't worry about it:

I didn't upgrade.

However, I made a few phone calls, and found several dealers who can pretty much match Digi's trade-in deal, at any time.

The upgrade price was REALLY a joke.
