I just bought a used Digi002R and it came with the software but for Mac and I have PC

I just bought a used Digi002R and it came with a pro tools installation CD, but only for mac and I have PC. Is there a way to get this CD replaced for one that is for PC? And if not then where can I buy this software because all I see on the website is upgrades. Thank you very much.

• All paid upgrades are full installers that do not require previous purchase or installation of Pro Tools software. To upgrade from a previous version of Pro Tools, it is only necessary to purchase the most recent upgrade.

There is also information and links on that page to previous updates, but if the seller included an older version of Pro Tools LE, you may want to upgrade Pro Tools LE 8 anyway.

In which case, all you need to do is purchase and install the current Pro Tools LE 8 upgrade.

BTW, most of the "upgrades" are actually the full installer and do not need any previous version. There are a few exceptions but if you need to buy, then you may as well go with PT8 anyway.

Depending on what version of PTLE you have you should should both installers on the disk. You should also have received a authorization code with the unit (check the inside cover of the getting started guide). You code will work with both Mac and PC so if you need the disks its just a matter of ordering them.

A quick check of the Digi store shows that 7.3 and newer ore on DVD and have both Mac and PC installers while 7.0 and older used CD's and feature separate install disks for the Mac and PC versions.

If you have a auth code just order the correct CD or DVD set. If you dont have a code grab a upgrade version that comes with its own code. As Allbee mentioned all of the installers are full installers.
