Default Digi002r connect to all other software except for Protools

My digi 002r just got back from getting the new wiring harness installed. But... Now it connects using the DAE to REASON and Logic, but no dice with Protools. The 1394 light remains off while mac is on and only comes on when mac sound prefs, reason, or logic is launched. Whe Launching protools, the icon just sits there. I have upgraded to CS4 for 7.3.1. Anyone else seeing this or something similar?
As I mentioned above, I just got this back from getting the new wirig harness where the unit never connected. Thoughts? Concerned for my health?
