Roland Xp keyboard question
Hey guys i have a roland xp-30 and have a question.
i use it mainly for drums, and im trying to take the reverb off that it puts on the toms. i did the obvious; hit the fx button, srolled over to reverb, and set it to 0. but it isnt changing anything. im in the right menu, cause every key i hit (or drum if you will), a different reverb amount will pop up, some toms have 127, some other drums have 32.. so in other words the reverb amount im looking at seems to be for the currently selected patch (drums) any xp owners out there know anything else i can do. i would like to have it pretty dry and add my own, better sounding verbs.. the reverb on the board just isnt real natural sounding.. thanks tim |

Re: Roland Xp keyboard question
Used to own one.Try going to Midi Channel 10 itself (for drums) Press EFX on that channel button (Not on the overall global side)and set it to PAT instead of EFX.You also have an option to set it to OP1 or OP2.Hope that helps.
