Mbox 3 Shipping!

It's all very simple. WHERE DID HE BUY IT?? Where did he get it from??? I challenge every last one of you to go to every retailer out there and try and find one and let me know.

I happen to know the actual ship date of these units and THEY HAVEN'T BEEN SHIPPED YET. Not even close. Pics are around however. Someone posted them to this very board. They were taken amazingly enough from the very same angles as these so called pics were. I don't know about the manuel. I have access to a site with all digi and avid literature. There are no manuals for the new boxes up yet.

Maybe a beta tester convinced one of the floorboys to take it back as a return for an mbox 2.

Or maybe this is all part of Avid's new teaser program.

Or maybe GC Nashville had an employee with unfavorable medical bills.

What if BanjosOK took some more pictures and included a picture of the retail packaging (the outer card box) or a sales slip? Would that be proof enough that this person really has one? I think it would!

I have asked two of my friends who are professional photographers to take a look at the pictures, as they have far more resources than I do to check if they have been edited in any way whatsoever. I personally still believe that they have not been touched and stand by my claim that they are indeed real images.

I will report what they find...

Not sure. The grain and noise from the camera phone would make something like that just about impossible to edit. If so, just like Russ said, he should get hired by James Cameron for the next Avatar movie.
