Having ACID issues using my 002 ASIO drivers...
Obviously, this would be for those working with ACID in PT 7. But here's my pickle. I close out of Pro Tools. I then open up ACID. Under preferences in the Audio tab, I scroll through my options and select Digidesign ASIO. The settings prefill and I hit apply and OK.
The 002 scribble scrips flash "working" and the Firewire 1394 light is on. But when I hit play, the cursor doesn't move. So, I checked to see if it was a fault of the software. I used the default Windows option, and hit play. The cursor moved, the level meters showed sound. When I re-selected the Digi ASIO driver. Again, nuthin'. Is there something I'm missing? Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Mark

Make sure your Bit rate is the same with protools. I believe I had to change that when I had the same problem. (eg. 24bit 48,000)(16 44,100)

Re: Having ACID issues using my 002 ASIO drivers..
Thanks Joe. I'll check in when I'm home tonight. I thought though that if the 002 is working in remote that it would lock to the rate of the wav files themselves. Plus, I don't know how an incompatible rate would keep the cursor from at least moving.
I'm frustrated. Oh well, I can always try opening up via ReWire w/ PT7. And there's always dragging and droppin' loops directly in PT7 tracks. I'd really like to use the application as advertised. Must be something I'm missing. Thanks, Wheels

Re: Having ACID issues using my 002 ASIO drivers..
Joe,
What I heard was that it's best if you want to work with ACID as loop genteration/creation software, do so independently of PT 7 as Rewire can sometimes get funky. So basically I'm opening up ACID (with PT7 closed) to create loops and finished percussion tracks to save and import into PT. The problem is that I can't get any audio out of ACID using my 002 and setting the audio parameters to the Digidesign ASIO driver under the preferences window in ACID. Does that make sense? Let me know if I'm off track or missing something here. Thanks, Wheels

I have the same problem with Sony Vegas 10 and the Pro Tools 9 drivers. No cursor. Unuseable.
