Default 11.1.2 on Mountain Lion bugs bugs bugs. command+f, elastic audio, discoloration

So many problems with this. STAY AWAY FROM 11.1.2 until these are fixed, unless I'm the only one having these problems which seems unlikely.

1. command+f will always crash PT
2. elastic audio freezes
3. screen gets oddly colored, I'm not sure what causes that, could be related to activating the "all" group
4. Getting lots of 6101s, could be unrelated, never happened before.
5. CPU meter 3 times as high in 11.1.2 than in 11.0.2 with the exact same session open. For example, in 11.1.2 recording 32 tracks at 96k at buffer of 128, "Channelstrip" on every channel, sets the CPU meter at about a bouncy 15% with big spikes every 20 seconds or so, and will occasionally stop recording.
EXACT same setup, same session even, on 11.0.2 the CPU is a rock solid 11%, no spikes, no bouncy CPU meter.

In fact, with 11.0.2 I'm streaming 2 HD movies, typing this, and batch processing a bunch of files in Wavelab while recording 32 tracks at 96k with 5 stereo sends and plug-ins on every channel. No spikes, CPU meter super stable.
In 11.1.2 I can't even open up a browser while it's running or it will spike like crazy and shut off

I've done clean installs of each version, multiple times, to check myself, unless someone convinces me otherwise it seems like an issue with 11.1.2

On the plus side "shift+1" now turns the all group off/on in 11.1.2!

Absolutely NONE of these problems occur in 11.0.2, so I'm going back to that.
Would like to have these fixed in the next release, total showstopper problems here.
Thanks!

Late 2012 mac mini i7
16 GB ram
10.8.4
Orion32 (I know CPU spikes have been an issue in the past with this)

I've been getting a lot of random cpu overload issues in 11.1.2 as well. I can't seem to pin point anything specific. At first I thought it was a Massive VI bug, but that ended up being a coincidence. I opening up a lot of sessions where several cores are registering around 25% usage, only to find minutes later without any major changes or added plug ins that those same cores are now maxed out. Really bizarre. Perhaps a memory leak somewhere?

Thanks for checking on that Farmer Dave, what is most weird is that you aren't getting the command+f crash or elastic audio freezing. Bizarre!

Sure thing!

I tried both "Command F" (not sure what this does) and "Command Shift F" (for searching in the clip bin) with no adverse effects.

I use Elastic Audio a LOT in all my sessions as well, and would've come across that one in a heartbeat.

I have been having very similar issues, with audio suddenly dropping on some tracks and then it's back. Also a dramatic amount the 6101 error
After reading this I went back to 11.1.1 and everything behaves dramatically better again

I have been experiencing (what seems to be) a similar typing related issue - during memory location creation.

When I create new locations, PT just crashes. After seeing all these posts about "Command+F" and "Shift Key" crashes, I started trying to replicate the issue, still to no avail... However still experiencing some strange behavior:

I tried pressing command+F during memory location creation and nothing happened at first. So I named the marker, hit "Return" to exit the memory location window and another window for the same marker number immediately re-appeared. But everything I typed was gone, and the marker I just created was not appearing in the Memory Locations window. Definitely some strange instabilities happening. I hope a solution is found soon. Also hoping my VO sessions this week aren't going to get all messed up on account of these issues.

Anyone else having the memory location crash?

OS X 10.8.5
PT 11.1.2 HD Native Thunderbolt (Omni)
The only peripheral plugged in other than the Omni is a USB Hub with an Oxygen 25 and DVD Burner.

i think the update is only good for 10.8.5 if i remember correctly
if you're on 10.8.4 i think you need to update

just don't update to mavericks by accident because that's worse

i see one guy on here who's using 10.8.5 and still having issues but that's with pt11 HD

I'm running it on the vanilla version and it's running fine..

I also got 16 gigs of ram so that might help to

11.1.2 crashes 10.8.4 I had to go back to 11.0.2

Avid seems to have little interest in fixing issues with 11.

Delay Compensation shrewd
Video Engine Screwed
Workspace Window Screwed
Memory Leak with Dynamic Plug-in processing
Too many 64 Bit AAx plug-ins in you Pro Tools 11 will stop your PT 10 from launching.
NO PT 10 in Mavricks!

these are not minor problems they MAJOR *ucking issues!
