I accidentally cleared files from the session i'm working on. They're important DI files, and i can't automatically relink them. manually relinking doesn't work. They seem to have dissapeared altogether and i think i deleted them for real, even though i didn't hit the ''delete for good'' button, just the one that says, ''remove from session''. there are about 23 total that i can't find. is there any way at all to recover them? please help, i'm desperate!

In the session, go to the Regions bin on the right side of the edit window and, from the Regions bin drop-down menu choose 'Show>Full Path Names'. You'll then be able to see the location on the drive that the session is expecting to see the files. If you go to that location, are the files there? If so, you should be able to relink to them - instructions on manually relinking (and other relink methods) can be found in the DigiBase Guide under the Help menu in Pro Tools. |
