Geez, and I was just hoping for some bug fixes on stuff that's really screwed my workflow since the last paid upgrade (like consolidating tracks on import).

Now we'll have to pay to upgrade. Sucks. I think they should be fixing pt 7 before all this.

Well, now they have to fix old AND new problems I am sure. But, you have to admit. Digi gave us post people some great stuff. I cannot wait for a picture editor to hear the words, "Our sound guy cut a few frames of picture here, and a few there and we like it much better now. Can you conform all of your hard work to match his now? Thanks, that would be great. When will you have the changes complete? Money? Oh, there is no money left for the picture, but we really like the flow now, so if you could just..." Ahhh, it's good to daydream sometimes.

Whatever, man. Avid will just put Pro Tools into the picture software. Wait a second - A trend?
