Default Aaaaaaarrrrrrrrrgggggghhh!!!!!!

The tag editor in Structure LE is absolutely worthless!!!

After spending all afternoon organizing patches, streamlining descriptions and bringing order to chaos nearly half of my patches now have empty tags!!!

Aaaaaaarrrrrrrrrgggggghhh!!!!!!

There's an 'r' missing in your title?

Not sure what you mean, explain and I'll see if I can help?

r aaa gg

Oops. I left them on my keyboard.

So I'm spending all afternoon in the Structure LE database editing the patch metadata and writing it to the patches. Sometimes I did it singularly as in edit one and write it to the patch, sometimes I did it in batches either editing many at once and writing them to the patches, or editing one at a time until I had a few dozen that I then selected and wrote them to the files all at once. Believe me, I did not miss the writing step on any of them. Once I was happy with things, I trashed the air.db file and made the registry edit so that Structure would rescan the content folder. Once rescanned, many of my patches no longer have any keywords, category assignment or manufacturer data in the tag.

The only fix for this is to re-install all the original content.

I had the same thing happen after downloading some new patches. After messing around with trying to figure it out I noticed structure is actually using "shortcuts" to your patches so by moving folders around an renaming things your breaking those shortcuts. All is not lost because to can make new shortcuts to reflect the changes. I wish it was automatic during a rescan but it isn't.

Hey Russ, the blog page keeps throwing this error:
http://img36.imageshack.us/img36/7282/blogerror.jpg

After clicking OK, IE goes to the standard can't display page. I can then hit the back button and the blog page loads, but is missing all of the content to the right of your posts. Plus, I keep getting these friendconnect links in my browser history that come from visiting the blog.
