Default INTEL QUAD PROCESSOR COMPATIBILTY WITH MBOX

Hello, I would like some advice. I am planning to upgrade my home studio Computer (PC).
I currently use the Original MBox and would like to know if the following system would be compatible with Mbox & Protools LE.

Intel 975XBX2KR Socket 775 motherboard,
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600
2GB DDR2 PC5400

I am mainly concerned about the Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 processor, if it will work with Mbox & LE.

Thank You !!!

i have an ASUS P5B PC with Quad Core Q6600 CPU with Mbox 2 mini

with PT LE 7.4 running

seems to be fine with this, no DAE or buffer errors but only really used for mixing audio,
although to be honest my main DAW is Cubase,

i have mixed a 26 track PT LE song with heavy RTAS plugs and never had to adjust any buffers

hope this helps

Thanks Guys....

I also use Steinberg Cubase SX but mainly for sequencing. But now I want to use PT for all my sequencing and recording. Thats why I need to upgrade.

It should be just fine

For reasons no one can explain to me the USB based interfaces are not generating the huge DVerb benchmark numbers of the FW deivice but they are still uberfast stop by the Core 2 Systems Specs page.
