Default X fades

The F command does not do crossfades across 2 regions?
Tried Cmd F, which brings up the fades options, and when I choose standard,
equal power, or equal gain crossfade, nothing happens.
Trashed prefs, etc and nothing happens....
Regular fade in & out seem fine.

There needs to be an 'overlap' of the underlying audio files to create crossfades. My guess is that's your problem.

I created an audio track and printed the signal gen on it.
Then, I cut it and tried to x fade it, and that's when I noticed this.
I'll give it a try later on, but it is possible there was a short
blank spot on one side.

I want to make a side note to say that this thing rocks on the Macbook Pro.
Haven't played a video track yet, but so far it's great!
