Endless beachballs with 2022.7
Trashed prefs and workspaces and installed 2022.7 twice. Mac Studio M1 Ultra macOS 12.4 and Metric Halo interface. Worked well with Dolby Audio Bridge as playback engine, but completely freezes up with endless beachballs with Metric Halo as playback engine. Rolling back to 2022.6.
 Anyone else seeing this? Or is 2022.7 working well for you?

Hi Nathaniel,
I'm running 2022.7 on an M1 Ultra, MTRX, to picture. I haven't seen that behavior. I've had a few scattered ave issues however, nothing show stopping.

Happening here too. Studio Ultra, Monterey 12.5, 2022.7, HD Native Thunderbolt. No video here though, just music. Seems to happen mostly when saving.

Thanks everyone for the info. I'll look at this more closely when I get a break. But Simon Nakra teased how great 2022.9 will be on Facebook just recently, so maybe I'll skip over .7.
