S6 M40 / 2021.10.1 - Spotted Issues

Hi guys,

I've been reading this forum for years now and It aways helped me to resolve all issues, until today.

I have 2 issues that I can't really resolve and I read every single thread in the forum that had some kind of information about it, also I've read all documentation on this topic.

Since I installed 2021.6 and today I installed 2021.10.1 on my S6 I lost the Expand Faders feature, hitting Att+Exp doesn't do anything, I tweaked all the options in the menus and nothing changed.
Holding down the Exp key only expands the sends/inserts etc. to the knob modules, but since I have no Fader Maps created It's not spilling anything on faders.

The other thing that I can't resolve is Display Views can't be updated in layouts even if I Overwrite the layout with the new Display View , once recalled the tracks revert back to their previous state.

With all of the new custom mapping features that were implemented in EUCON 2021.6, the method for creating Expand Fader maps has changed. In addition to this - all of the legacy Fader Maps are no longer valid - which means you need to recreate them. It's a small price to pay for all of the incredibly powerful new mapping capabilities - especially with knobs. Check out the S4 S6 Operation doc which describes in detail how to build the Expand Fader maps now:

Display Views need to see a change -> use Attention + Select to explicitly cycle through to the preset you want for each strip, then store your track layout. If also recalling knob function views ensure that Ignore Functions on Layout Recall is not ticked.
