Hello!
I am trying to figure out why kick drums are sounding different in my project than just from my computer. Here is the scenario: I have a project in which I tracked drums and got some great drum tracks. I saved the project at the studio (off a HD system) and opened it in my Digi Rack 002. I wanted to reference ipod headphones. However, I found out that the kick was distorted or just sounded like a little click or something. I tried eq-ing, and to no avail. I downloaded a kick sample I tested with ipod headphones to have a reference after that. When I imported it into the project, it sounds like crap. I do have a master fader. It isn't distorting. It seems like if I turn it really low on my headphone output I can hear the distortion go away, but then I can't even mix it's so low and I'm not sure it really is going away anyway because the volume is so low. I honestly have no idea what's going on and could REALLY use some help! Thank you! Justin. |

Ok, I think I got it figured out. My headphones were not perfectly in my headphone jack and it was not sending me everything. Got it licked now!
