Need help!!"unable to located digidesign hardware"
Hi, i recently just installed pro tools 8 HD and its all up to date with 8.0.4.
I have an MBOX 003, with a 8 core mac os x snow leo 10.6.2 or 10.6.5. And it loads up the program then get to an error "UNABLE TO LOCATE DIGIDESIGN HARDWARE"... i know it works because i have it working on my other mac with pro tools 8 le... please anyone help me!!

Your post is very confusing, mate. If you are using an MBox or an 003 (which is it?)... you aren't using Pro Tools HD. How are you using 10.6.2 or 10.6.5? If you are attempting to use PTHD with an MBox or an 003... this will not work. Only Pro Tools LE, or Pro Tools 9.

Do a clean uninstall, then reinstall LE and you should be good to go.

Where did you get the Mbox from? You shouldn't need to buy PTLE, it's supposed to come with the Mbox.
