Default Dell 733 and 001

I am trying to get the 001 going on a Dell 733/256 tonight. After looking at all the postings and following all suggestions there - No Luck.
At first Win98SE would boot at all. Removing my SBLive, Firewire and Modem and moving the 001 card to another slot got that going.
Then error -6029. Downloading the latest WaveDrivers1.6 got me a little further. Now I get the dreaded Chan 1-2 error or an error telling me to turn on the power to the unit. If I reinstall all software drivers occasionally it will boot clean with no errors. Then when I start PTLE5.01 I get 'can't initialize DAE deck'. This isn't any fun.......I seem to be getting all the errors. Any help appreciated - I'm chasing my tail here....

Thanks Steve
