Default Davec: 24 or16bit? 128-1024 samples?

On the first page of 'best desktops' thread there is a link to the specification of the DaveC test.

Am I missing something coz I dont see it there whether it should be 24 or16bit? 128-1024 samples?
Anyway which are they? Or is it whateve works best. I spotted the 44.1Khz spec, but many other variables are still seem to be 'undetermined'.

I posted this on the 'best desktop' thread way way back. It's in one of those hundreds of threads if you can find it. The Davec test started on 5.1. The settings were the original default settings when you started PT 5.1. Many people do this test wrong with incorrect buffer, sample rate, bit depth etc.

Bit depth doesn't typically affect the results. Lower rates get better results, as do higher buffer settings.

Most people are using 44.1/24 and 1024 buffer.
