Default 6.7 Weird window things happening. Anyone else??

When opening any other window in PTLE (6.7 with cs4), example: bounce to disk window, plug in window, marker window, preference window, etc. nothing in the window works until I click on the top part of the window. It's as if I have to activate the window before making any selections. This did not happen in any other versions of PTLE on this exact same computer. Anyone else seen this? Thanks in advance,
Jason

This is also happening on my brother's computer as well. He has a P-4 2.8, 512 ram, 6.7 cs4, 002. Anyone else? This would be strange if it is only happening on just our 2 systems. Thanks,

Jason

Jason, I just installed my 6.7 upgrade today and I'm getting the same thing. What video card are you running?

I'm running an ATI Radeon 9200SE. I'm also using the ATI hydravision program that came with the card for my dual monitor system. I found that when I turned that software off, the problem went away, though I still need to test it fully to make sure. I've only had 6.7 installed for a couple of hours.

Thanks for the response guys. Keith, thank you so much for the compliments. If you would like full versions of the songs, let me know via email. I am half way finished with my second project. I'll keep you in mind when I finish.
Spkguitar, I (and my brother) have the exact same video card also using hydravision for dual display. Seems to be the common culprit causing the problem. I will also try a few things, settings and such, to maybe remedy the problem. Thanks again guys,

Talk to you soon,
Jason

Yes, it is a Hydravision issue. When I turn it off, the problem goes away. The dual display still works great, so, I'll move on with hydravision off. It looks like a 6.7 with hydravision bug (how many times can I say hydravision in one paragragh?). Thanks for the info spkguitar.

The same thing happens to me.... How did you turn off hydravision? I have the same card as SPK.

ATI Hydravision will be listed in your start/programs list. Dual displays work fine without it enabled.

Good luck,

Jason
