Strike 1.5 Midi Export Issues
Ok so i read on the DUC and no one really presented a real fix for this issue, i am trying to have strike export a pattern to midi so ican make my own changes int he normal pT midi editor as opposed to strikes midi editor. strike and PT match up fine during playing back with out midi export but as soon as i record soemthing that i want exported and then put it on its own midi track the timing becomes off. Does anyone Know Why this is? or have a fix for it?
and before any1 says it, yes i know i know i can rather a.) adjust the beat i want within strike's editor and just trigger the patterns (but i dont want to save that in strike, incase i go somewhere else, and they dont have strike, i have the hard copy or all the midi notes necessary to reassign to something else(i.e reason, battery,BFD etc.)) or B.) make a 15 midi track template thing in pro tools and rewrite all of strikes hits to do that(which could take anywhere from 15 minutes to an half hour after track assigning) but this feature should work as its suppose to, so i shouldnt have to do those work arounds right? |

Re: Strike 1.5 Midi Export Issues
I was having this issue. If I set the "feel" parameter in strike to "TIGHT", it seems to stay in sync. If I set it to anything less (closer to "natural"), the timing drifts.
Maybe this is by design in order to allow you to record a more "natural" drum track ie. a real drummer doesnt play exactly in time...just guessing here. It does seem to stay in time with the "feel" parameter set to TIGHT. Let me know how you make out...Hope this helps. |

Re: Strike 1.5 Midi Export Issues
Not sure midi offset will work in this case. A verse might be in sync, but then when you switch to a bridge, or chorus, the midi starts to drift from that point (its timing changes, ie it might slow down for example). It might be pattern dependent.

Re: Strike 1.5 Midi Export Issues
tried both options, and neither work. strike was already set to "tight" and i still was having the same issues, the only thing i can do is one of the options i stated earlier. this sucks, it seems not every1 is having the same issue so i wonder why i am.

Re: Strike 1.5 Midi Export Issues
In Region View, did you Tab to Transient, Separate and align the first MIDI Note?
