Weird problem with 192 I/O, all output lights go red

Here's my system:

Mac Pro 10.5 leopard
2,8 ghz octocore
10 gb of ram
Protools HD2 accel, one core card and one accel card

The HD core card is linked to the 192 I/O which's linked to a yamaha 02R digital recording console.
Everything's working good , protools HD, logic, recording microphones, guitares through the yamaha 02r to protools HD.

Except that sometimes, I don't know when... everything goes crazy and I heard loud crackling noises in the monitors, it's flickering you know. So i lower the master level of the yamaha and i can see all the output lights of the 192 I/O going red and flickering. I put off the 192 I/O then reboot the mac and its working again, until next time when everything will go red again on the 192 i/o.

Sounds like a Wordclock-Problem to me. How is your system clocked?

Check your 192's firmware with digitest.
