OSX 10.8.2
PT 10.3.2 MacBook Pro 9.1 2.7 GHz Intel Core i7 RME FireFace 800 8 GB RAM 1600 MHz DDR3 If I select a clip on a track where the clips are back to back, if I play this selected clip, at the end of this clip I hear the start of the next clip. (there are no plug-ins on this track, and there only two stereo tracks in the session) This really criples my workflow... Is this a known issue (couldn't find it by searching the DUC)? Solutions? Things I tried: Changing the playback engine Changing the setting of the Delay Compensation Engine. |

Maybe post roll is activated?

I was seeing this prior to 10.3.2 but it seemed to go away with 10.3.2 for me - despite the fact that there wasn't any bug fix for it. So I'm wondering if somehow there was a bad component and a clean uninstall/reinstall fixed it. It's a mystery.
To be sure we're talking about the same problem - 1) Create a blank clip followed immediately by a clip with audio 2) Select the first clip (no pre or post roll, loop playback OFF) 3) Play Expected result - you only hear the first clip (in this case, silence) Actual result - when playhead reaches the end of the selection you hear a short blast of the next clip Again, I don't know why/how it stopped happening for me... dc |

Do you have auto-fades activated in the preferences?

No pre- or post-roll.
Auto-fades does not exist in plain vanilla PT10. The procedure described by Danny reproduces the error. Should I report a bug to Avid? |

I see that I have to pay to submit a bug report. Hello! Anybody Avid watching here... I bought your product and it doesn't work... Or are you just in it for the money?

I can reproduce this. Even with a gap between the silent clip and an audible clip (in my case a 1kHz sine wave) smaller than 480 samples @ 48kHz or smaller than 441samples @ 44.1kHz is it audible.
Look at the values! I think there is a coherence!

That sounds even worse. I hope that Avid is reading this, and that they will post a quick fix!
