Default MIDI recording in Protools

I recently got an Axiom 25 MIDI keyboard to record with in Protools 7.2.

I've got a 3G IMac desktop with a Mbox2 interface. I'll be using Reason Adapted for keyboard sounds. Hope that's enough info.

Is there a good beginers tutorial or walkthrough to explain the basic recording setups, connections, etc.?

I'll hang up and listen, thanks.

Look in the Pro Tools Refrence Guide that'll probally have the answers to the question your asking. I know its got a whole chapter on midi setup in it.

+1 on the Basics guide and the Getting started Guide. There are actually very easy to follow steps in there to get you started.

also +1 on the Accelerated videos.. Lots of tips and tricks.. watch them multiple times because Phil Jackson really cruises through his examples..

The reference guide is great too, but often you have to already know some terminology to find what you are interested in...
