Hello all,
I've been experiencing a problem with 7.0 in that when sequencing a track with Reason 3.0, Stylus and to a lesser degree Xpand, I use up my 1 gig of RAM pretty fast. The problem is that when previewing a patch the ram increases by the patch size as it should, but when moving to the next preview patch instead of subtracting the amount of RAM from the previous patch it just adds the size of the current patch to it. So after 10 patches previews I'm up to 50 megs added before even selecting which one to use. On top of that, if I use 5 or 6 instruments via the same process I'm quickly out 250-300 megs of memory not to mention the 200 megs Stylus eats up on top of the 450 megs 7.0 uses. I usually have to record a loop to wave file, save the project and restart LE. Then I'm back to my original 450 meg usuage which is much more manageable. My question is, is there a way to clear that RAM cache? |

Good Question.
I don't think so but it would be nice to know of any workarounds. |
