Popped my Cherry - Melodyne Plugin and 7.4cs9 not playing nice

I've been up and running, and very smug about it, with zero crashes or silliness since November '06 when I bought this system. I mean perfect. And I've been very smug.

Party's over.

I'm on 10.4.11, 7.4cs9. 6G RAM in my '06 Core Duo Mac Pro.

Melodyne plug-in (v. 1.0.4) will cause a clean quit of PT. It seems to happen when adjusting something in the plug-in window while PT is in play, but the program just vanishes and there is no log so it's a bit hard to tell.

Any idea where I should look?

I've cleaned up with preferences cleaner and updated everything.

I guess it had to happen :)

Drop down to an odd number of processors in the Playback Engine window and see if it helps.

Seems better now... Of course my system went hairy too so hopefully all the crashes are happening in one tantrum and I can get back to perfection...

When I deleted all the prefs the rig would not let met set the number of voices.. "Encountered an error adjusting Memory" so I had to do a clean re-install.

All seems well now tho.
