HUI not showing up in MIDI Controller tab for my Faderport

Faderport works in my other DAWs, but does not work in Pro Tools 10. It did work in Pro Tools 9???

When I go to Peripherals >> MIDI Controller tab, my "Type" dropdown only shows "none". It should show "HUI" so the I can set the "Receive From" and "Send To" option items to Faderport...

Any ideas?

Same problem here, only 'none' appears, instead of HUI. Any idea ?

File a bug report on ideascale? This would be yet another deal killer for me. I'm already abstaining from 10 because the punch-point noise and miswrite bugs were retained from 9. Even if they fix that, being unable to use my Faderport would keep me from upgrading. One step forward, two steps back.

Same boat here. I will keep watching, but I am not ready to drop the faderport. Its way too handy

I'll vote for it if you'll post it. I feel funny about posting it myself since I don't have 10 and thus can't verify it as a bug.

Uninstalled Pro Tools 10 from my E:\ Drive and re-installed it onto the default Windows 7 C:\ drive and presto - everything worked FaderPort and BCF2000...

My faderport is working with PT10. I had to use the previous drivers/firmware version because the motorized fader wasn't working but that is a Presonus issues not PT.

I bought a BCF 2000 recently and I hooked it up to my MAC OSX 10.6.8 via USB. I use PRO TOOLS 8 Le

I downloaded the needed firmware from the behringer site.. Firmware 1.10
And i was told I don't need a driver because, the rihgt drivers are allready inside my MAC.... Please correct me if i'm wrong! I'm desperate…

I loaded the firmware into my BCF 2000 with SySex Librarian.. My Bcf was counting on to 20 in the display, so there were signs of loading up.

I set my BCF on the HUI mode by pressing down the 5th button and then power it up....

Then i started up my protools and i went to pheripherals and then i went to midi controller.. There is only the word NONE present..... I can't choose ANY other things.. WHERE DID I GO WRONG?????????

Please can anyone help me STEP by STEP to get this thing talking...??

If i go to my MIDI configuration in my MAC or in protools it says there is a BFC2000 locked on.. and it comes up in all the boxes in Pheriperals --> syncronization and also in midi machine..... But it's not in my midi controller Box....

I HOPE YOU GUYS NOW MORE ABOUT IT THAN ME.....!!

so im having similar problems as others here. got my PreSonus Faderport installed it went to peripherals>MIDI controllers> HUI> then went to the send to/from drop downs and nothing was under those drop down menus. so i un installed pro tools and reinstalled and updated to 10.0.1 un installed the presonus faderport software and reinstalled it. went back into a PT session Setups>Peripherals> MIDI Controllers> but this time nothing comes up under the first drop down menu at all.

help!
