Auto-named playlists

Is there a way of having pro tools not ask you whether you want a new playlist auto-named (with the name .nn), it kind of defeats the object.

If you hold option and select new playlist it will auto-name.

wow, that was interesting! I didn't realize it did that.. can you do it on one track without adding a playlist to all the others?
I'm actually trying to get the Tranzport people to add a "new playlist" command to their brilliant remote.

In a couple of steps:
Show selected tracks either by menu or by memory loc.
Then option+select
But the cure seems more than it's worth.

Maybe Digi will give us the preference one day, name playlist or auto-name. Thanks though
