Maybe i should be wrong but all the enhancements are on the Rtas side so thanks to previous releases incompatibility you're going to loose really huge features on TDM side. Or not?

Ciao

I got Evo & tried it.
TDM is not supported by 96k over session.
48k & 44.1k was okay.

I hope to use TDM by 96k session because RTAS is too high latency than autotune v5.

That would have been older versions as well.

I'm lovin it like McDonalds fries.

I also have Waves Tune which does pretty much the same freakin thing.

Sonar's Roland V-Vocal is pretty sick too once you figure out it's quirks and temperments.

Useless??????? Eventually all software stops working as companies keep changing code. Keep your upgrade plans goin! Props to the Waves WUP!

Upgraded last night, this new release covers pretty much everything the competing products incorporated for a while, and the sound quality is remarkable. RTAS is the way to go, sounds and operates better than TDM.

Bravo Antares!!!

I only use it in graphic, so no biggy. I suppose it is more of a problem in automatic mode, but aside from singing into it in real time for the T-Pain effect, I never use this mode.

I assume they had to increase the buffer for the new Al Gore rhythm, it really sounds magnificent.

I'm with you Andre, you da man! AT has it's problems like all but if you use it correctly, you can have near perfect results. I've tuned 100+ tracks of A Capella music with it, and it works great.

I hate upgrading, but if they made it better, I'm in.

I just gave the demo a try. I find that the TDM version sounds cleaner than the RTAS (like I do with all other RTAS/TDM shootouts), but it may well be the RTAS version works slightly better. One thing is for sure, the automatic correction, (which I use every day on every project), is less obvious, so that you can tune more with less artifacts, which is good news to all but t-pain and cher. The extreme AT effect is, however, much requested by the RNB customers, so that probably needs to be done with an earlier version of the plug - which won't run on a current Mac. Melodyne can get pretty feirce... The improvements to the graphical mode are much welcomed and I may very well start to use this mode a lot more now. The pitch shifting and throat modeling is of less use, probably, but I find it sounds better than the algo's in Harmony Engine, so mabye they have not simply copy-pasted the code for that. The formant shifting is good for extreme adjustments, but a second correct take is probably better ;-). As before, when you loop the playback around a phraze, the graphical correction only works the first time 'round. Why is that? In conclusion, the Evo sounds better and is easier to operate than before. What's not to like? 169 US on a plug I use every day in every session is not a lot, but I do wonder how much the plug has cost me over the years in upgrades... This must be the third one for me since going TDM.

Are you able to leave it in graphic mode for the whole song?

Or do we need to still print the tracks?

thx
