7.2 Automation question

In 7.2 When i write automation, if i have any selection made, it only writes automation in the selected time.
Is there any way to change this behavior other than not making a selection?

Not sure, but maybe unlinking edit and timeline selection will solve this...

This is not new, it's always been that way.
You have to Deselect the region if you want to write automation beyond it.

When i switched to the Wacom Tablet, its very easy to select a small reigon and not notice, i leave the pre-roll & post roll on to prevent only playing back the selected area ...... hence the problem. I can remedy the problem by making sure i don't have a selection made, but a pref would be good too.

FYI- Since i got the Wacom Intuos tablet, my hands dont hurt anymore at the end of the day.
