Default Re: iPad battery drain with wifi and Avid Control

I’m not getting this issue but my iPad/Avid Control isn’t connected via WiFi. It’s hardwired to the Mac with a Lightning to Ethernet adapter which has a Lightning pass thru connector for power. Works great.

Looks like success. Thank you Bscout!
Now I'll re-install Control.
I postponed the install and I've let it lie idle another five hours and it's on 57%!

I feel pretty shure this is a solid solution; turn off 'background updating' in settings, and do a 'hard restart'.

Christopher (Southside), let me know if it works for you guys.

I installed Control again just now.

I'm shure it does.
But I really like to have the iPad wireless.
