Runaway Reason

This starting rearing it's ugly head again today! ARRRGH!

I've wiped my system clean since my last post on this and have installed 7.4 and Reason 4.0.1. but this still intermittently happens (maybe 1 in 5 times) on all sessions. Even have a new midi interface and controller!

Upon stopping the PT transport during playback, Reason continues to playback rewired tracks through the PT bus....note that the PT transport is stopped and not moving but if I toggle to Reason, its tranport is humming along and cannot be stopped from within Reason. I have to toggle back to PT and hit the spacebar several times for Reason to "snap out of it."

Anyone else experiencing this yet??

PT 7.3.1cs5, Reason 3.0.4, OSX 10.4.9
Mac G4 MDD dual 1GHz, 2 GB RAM, ProTools HD|4 Accel, 13 slot chassis

It's possible that whatever version of Reason you are using is probably not "native" to PT 7.4 and may have some issues... maybe this is one of em. I would go back to PT 7.3 or wait for Reason's latest version to catch up to speed to 7.4.

thanks for the advice however, I'm going from PT 7.1/Reason 3.0.5 to 7.4/4.0.1....a significant amount of time has passed between these updates with no fix...this has been broken for me since the upgrade to 7 frpm 6. On PT 6 all was well...but it's hard to go back now!!!

Ripple...you're the only one who has acknowledged that you have the same problem....so I at least know that I'm not alone:)

any ideas?

G5 PPC dual 2.7 6GB ram with Reason 4.01 PT's 7.4cs2 and no glitches here.
(Mac OS 10.4.11)

Does this happen on every session?
Rewire over how many tracks? (I run around 10-40 across at a time)
Firewire 800 session drives? (No mixing 400+800)
Separate sample lib-drive?
Other apps running?

I can have both Melodyne Bridged or rewire with Reason all running BTW.

If you have a small test session that does this repeatably, I would be willing to try it here.
If so please include a list of active plug-ins.
Have you tried with out 3rd party plugs?
(Waves Vocal installed?)
