PT 8 to PT 7.4

Sorry if this has been covered, but I am running PT 7.4cs9 on a PPC and have someone recording material for me on PT 8. What do I need to do to be able open these files?

Nothing, they'll open just fine. It'll come up with a "created in newer version" warning and when you hit save it'll automatically go into "save as" and that's all.

You'll lose anything that's been done with 8 new features not available in 7.4, but if you're only recording basic audio and MIDI that shouldn't apply.
