Default OK I\'ve managed to max out my G4/400!!

So all I used was a base amount of tracks, think it came to about 10. Drums, bass, 3 guitars, 2 vocals, a click track, sampletank. 2 Amplitubes.

Basically it was maxed! This is sad, I thought my Mac would be able to handle more. I guess the only thing I can do is convert the amplitubes to audio. Havent EQed or compressed most of the tracks yet.

Amplitube is very heavy on the cpu. Try using it as an audiosuite plug in.... I was getting 32 tracks with a few plug ins, and if I used Amplitube RTAS, it would bog everything down on my G4 400.

Guess you're right, but its such a great little plugin!! I love it, it may even replace my POD!

Cheers

Those are good for basic songwriting, but for serious guitar recording you really need some tubes, man...
