I been trying to import mp3 files into pro tools, but it wont do anything, but it will import wav files. I was able to import mp3 befor by just dragging them in, but now it wont. I thought you only had to buy the mp3 (whatever its called) if you want to bounce it. But do you need to buy the mp3 thing if you want to import as well. or do I just need to fix some configurations?
My second question how ever I haven't got a clear answer from anyone. Once in a while, as I'm mixing or recording the sound gets really static sounding when its plays the track. I usually just go to playback engine and change the cpu usage and that seems to work, but still it worries me. Any advice would be great. thx. ![]() |
