Default 12.8 and -7106 errors

Getting an awful lot of -7106 errors, and that's literally all the error window says. Just "-7106" - no other text at all.

Happens when changing track I/O, and activating or deactivating tracks. Clicking through the error box causes all track to become inactive due to no output paths. Re-assigning the tracks outputs bring them back to life... until the next error. Unfortunately it's not reproducible as it doesn't happen every time, just every now and then.

Anyone else seeing this error?

Just started having this one myself. It only first happened 2 days ago. Started when I tried to bounce a final mix I printed to an audio channel. I renamed the file it bounced (a Wav. and mp3) n the sessions bounced folder. If I try to bounce the printed mix after I changed the file name in the folder, I get the -7106 error and to bounce that file again I have to close and reopen that session again.

I am having the exact same issue. I reached out to Avid, and am hoping to get a response soon. It isn't exactly a crippling issue, but it definitely is super annoying. I never had this issue before 12.8.

Not even 20 minutes ago I see 12.8.1 in Avid account product page. Through DUC I checked the release notes and I don't see anything related to our error code. I guess we'll have to wait til 12.8.x or 12.9 now but I did see they fixed the assigning multi-outputs to all selected channels which was first broken in 12.8..... Thanks for starting a ticket with Avid.

This bug is fixed in 12.8.1 and noted in the release notes:

Making record armed tracks inactive no longer triggers a -7106 error on HDX systems (PT-232284)

The issue I was having is now fixed but by the description of record armed tracks was not my problem but I guess my -7106 error was also related to that somehow and now it has been addressed and fixed.
