Default Grid lines gone in 9.0.2

Previously when in slip or any other mode other than grid, you would be able to see the light grid lines in the edit window. This seems to have gone in 9.0.2.
This was very useful as a reference. I was previously on 9.0.0.

Above the "nudge" button you will see a "grid" button. Select it and you should get your grid lines back.

Yeah, but the show grid lines button should show grid lines at the resolution selected ie 1 frame etc.
It shows up fine in grid mode, then select any other mode and there are some lines but like 30 seconds, which change when you zoom or out.

Is "Follow Main Time Scale" selected in the grid configuration?

Is this the same for all sessions or one in particular?

This is the first thing I noticed when I upgraded to 9.0.2 as well. I would really like to have the visual grid on when in slip mode. Without it, I feel a little disoriented.

This is for every session I've opened today. It seems to be a "feature" of some sort.
