Default protools 6.4 to 5 plus windows

can someone give me advice on saving a session from ProTools 6.4 to ProTools 5 while also enforcing mac/pc compatibility? It is greyed out when I do this, despite several attempts (making sure to save the session with the audio files as aiff).

we both have macs but are using ftp (pc) to exchange session files...

are you trying to save as 5.0 or 5.1?
do you have multichannel track in your 6.4 session? or I/O setup?
if so then 5.1 is the lowest you can go w/o getting rid of multichannel tracks.

Pro Tools 5.0 can't work with Mac/PC compatible sessions.. that feature was added in 5.1

If they're running Pro Tools Free 5.0 then you'll need to use Stuffit or BinHex the session files for delivery -- the AIFF files will not need to be stuffed for FTP.
