Convert Digital performer files to PT windows
Does anyone have any experience with this?
I have a hard drive with files recorded using a Mac and Digital Performer. I need these files converted to Pro Tools Windows format. Not concerned about session data just need raw tracks converted. What do I need to do? 1. Convert Mac to Mac - DP to PT and then import Mac to PC? 2. Have the guy that tracked the show convert DP to _____? 3. I am completeley screwed and have to haul my PC over and dump the files in real time to maintain 24 bit resolution? Files were originally recorded 24bit 48khz. Thanks for your time!

Re: Convert Digital performer files to PT windows
If you have sd2 files and just want the audio... use my free utility sdTwoWav available at the link below in my sig.

Re: Convert Digital performer files to PT windows
MediaFour's Macdrive in combination with Rail's utilities are a must for every PC based studio in my opinion.
DP usually uses sd2 files. Macdrive will let your PC read the files. Rail's program will translate them into wave files. Easy as pie.
