Just a quick question about external plugin cards

Hey there.. for a long time i have been debating about wether to invest in a pluggin card...
perhaps the UAD1 or the TC card (cant remeber name)

And my question is becasue ive just purchased a copy of waves IR1.. .and it is simply amazing!! .. and i think im gana be using this alot more now...
however as you know its quite heavy on the prosessor!...

would these cards enable me to run waves IR1 on them in protools 6.4LE possibly with VST 2 RTAS adaptor??? or is there another power card that does this???

And also.. if they do.. how many do you think ill bebable to run on the card....
just outa pure interest....

you guys have probably answered this time and time again!... but i couldnt find much...

I believe the UAD1 and Powercore only run their own plugins. As you know these are VST plugs. I'm not sure if you can wrap these with the VST Wrapper

I heard something that you can use UAD DSP cards with PTLE but I still think that's not possible.
Can anyone tell me something more about that subject ???

Because if this is possible then PT are not working only with digidesign hardware...
