windows me and pro tools crashes

im running me with 512k ram and a 933khz processor with a 20g hd.

anyway, my system crashes 10-15 times a day...and i'm about ready to wipe everything out "again" and start over. let me describe a few of the problems:

1. sometimes i use antares 1.1 and pitch n time. when using pitch n time to rekey stereo tracks it will lock up and only complete the cycle once i reboot and try again.

2. and, when running a session...i will get a fatal exception error message out of nowhere.

is it an OS compatibility problem or a hardware problem?

It is likely a hardware or configuration issue. I run PTLE 5.1.1 on WinME and it NEVER crashes. I don't run any Antares plugs so I can't comment on that issue.

Please post your hardware and IRQ listing. There are several DUC members that might be able to offer assistance given that information.
