I have a 9600/200, OS 9.1, Pro Tools LE 5.01, Sound Designer and Audiomedia III. The card is 4 or 5 years old. Everything worked fine yesterday until I installed itunes. Suddenly, everything plays back at half speed. Even the Mac alert sounds. Everything plays OK through the Mac's speaker. Have I blown the board? Do I need a new driver?.
Pleas help, I'm desparate.

Does anybody have an answer for this? I'm having the same problem.

Do you realy mean half speed? ... or just slow.

Do you have a control panel for the AMIII?

Check to see if it is set for 48K playback. If so a 44.1k file could playback slow.
