Default A good sequencer plugin for PT?

I was wondering if anyone knows of a good sequencer RTAS plugin for PT LE? (if it even exists).

I'm so dissapointed with the PT midi situation.
There there has to be a good tight sequencer that will work the time stamping feature of my AMT 8 interface. Any ideas??

Thanks!

Years ago (on a Quadra system) I ran Performer and ProTools in sync. It was a bit of a confusing hassle to set that all up, but then it worked quite well. It's been so long that I don't remember any of the details of how you do that, but I would think that this can still be done with modern systems. I don't do any sophisticated midi stuff these days, but I do recall that Performer seriously outperforms the ProTools midi sequencer.

its a hassle, but your best bet, IMHO,
is to use logic for MIDI stuff, which will
allow you to take advantage of the full
capabilities of your MIDI interface

I use a G4 DP under OS9 with Digi 001, Opcode StudioVision Pro in MIDI mode only, and ProTools, OMS with the Gethree serial port connected to my Opcode 128X midi interface.

I edit all the midi stuff in SVP, with PT running in background as a mixer only. When my sequence on SVP is ready, I import it in PT.

The external synths, Soft SampleCell and a SampleCell card are all mixed in PT.

It is also possible to sync SVP and PT, using IAC communication bus in OMS.
